We started off this soccer season on a VERY hot day and ended on a cold one…go figure!
Christening
This past weekend, we celebrated Little Sister’s Christening.
It was a beautiful day!
Lots of our family and friends were there to help us celebrate! We are so thankful they were able to be there!
Since I am still on maternity leave I (with some help from my family) was able to make a few things for the party.
Guests came in and were asked to find their names (along with table assignments) – the placecards were little hearts tied to chocolate crosses (made by my mom).
My mom also made the flower centerpieces that were at each table.
As a favor for each guest, I ordered custom tags and stickers from a seller on Etsy and my mother-in-law helped me put the little bags together. EACH kiss had a sticker on the bottom…:)
I wanted to be sure all the littles that joined us were not bored! We set up a special table for them with crayons, coloring books, notepads, puzzles, stickers, etc. It helped keep Big Sister busy too!
Lastly, my dad baked the cake and I decorated it. I loved how it turned out!!
To all who came out to celebrate with us and helped me prepare – THANK YOU!!!!
Two Months
On Wednesday, Little Sister was Two Months old!
I don’t know where the time goes! It is hard to believe we met this princess only two months ago!
Unfortunately all four of us have been under the weather this week, so we didn’t do much to celebrate this milestone on Wednesday.
Little Sister has been SUCH a good baby! She sleeps about 10 hours at night at this point – which is amazing (Big Sister is NOT a good sleeper, still to this day)! Her height and weight are right on track and she is more and more alert everyday. She loves to smile – especially at her Big Sister. With the cold weather now, we don’t get to go for our walks as much – but still enjoy going shopping and playing with Big Sister after she gets out of school. This past weekend Little Sister was Baptized; it was a beautiful day – will have some pictures soon!
Wordless Wednesday – Little Helpers
Halloween 2014
I cannot believe we are in November now and that Halloween is over!!
We had a great day!! Big Sister got dressed as Elsa for school.
Her class marched in a Halloween Parade for all the parents.
Little Sister was Rapunzel for her first Halloween.
She watched from in the house as Big Sister went Trick-Or-Treating.
By the end of the night, her big was filled with candy! It has taken ALOT of will power to not eat it all myself:)
Until next year….
