2013 in Review
I cannot believe this is the last day in 2013! Time really flew by!
Here is a quick recap of our year in photos…
In January, the little peanut turned 3! We had a Minnie Mouse themed party with the family and a few close friends at home and then we celebrated in her school classroom as well.
We took advantage of snow days in February – dressing for the occasion both in and outside.
Easter came in March of 2013.
We were finally able to really get outside in April and start to enjoy our favorite pastime….mini golf!! If she could do it 24/7 – she would!!
Although school came to an end, we were able to start swimming in May!
In June we went to a Yankee game, the beach and lots of fairs {another favorite pastime}. She was finally able to go on rides all by herself for the first time!
July we went to Bethany Beach with my family.
August was HOT, so we spent most of our weekends poolside!
September was by far the favorite month – mostly since we weren’t home:) We took a last trip to the beach with hubby’s family, went to Saratoga to watch the last horse race of the season and DISNEY!! School also started!
For Halloween, I had a request to find a Princess Sofia costume…luckily Stop and Shop had it all!
For the 6th year, we hosted Thanksgiving:) My favorite holiday!
And that brings us to December…
Christmas Eve we spent with hubby’s family…
Christmas Morning was super fun! She ran into our room at 7:30am screaming “Santa came!!” 🙂
and we finished up Christmas day at my parent’s house…we were exhausted by the end!
The End of 2013, but more memories are to come:)
My 2014 Resolutions
2014 is going to be a good year…I hope!
I want to make a few promises to myself….and what better way to hold myself accountable then to document it all here as my first post:)
1) Make it to the gym/a class/run outside (ie. some form of exercise) at least 4 times a week. {This is really hard for me in the winter. I hate getting out of bed when it is cold out!}
2) No sweets of any kind after 5pm! {I really should cut them out completely, but baby steps…}
3) Blog! My little peanut is growing…fast! I.hate.it! To ease the pain, I really enjoy looking back at the things we did together. My goal is to use this blog as a journal to document our life…making memories!
Cheers to 2014!
